課程概述 |
This course provides an integrated analysis of China's economic boom of the past three decades. Topics covered include the demographic factor in China's transition, education and the Chinese labor market in the reform era, environmental resources and economic growth, science and technology, the political economy of private sector development , the role of law in China's economic development, agriculture in China's development, China's financial system, China's industrial development, China's embrace of globalization, growth and structural transformation, and income inequality during China's economic transition. |

課程目標 |
This course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the modern Chinese economy and society. Students will develop the ability to comprehend and analyze major theoretical and policy issues in China's economic and social transformation and their implications for the rest of the world. |
